Lyla had come to Heart’s Home with Jocelyn, to see for herself his abode once again before she gave birth. Her stomach was noticeably bulged and she would walk about with her hands cradling and rubbing her where she felt her children. She decided to take a walk to the Godswood after Jocelyn ran out of their room with his sword and lute. They had been making love for the whole day in their own special way and she felt she could use a stretch. She walked bare foot through the thick grass of the wood, and through the rivers and streams, passing by rabbits and deer and birds and all sorts or creatures that lurked in the woods. She walked and walked and walked, never seeming to tire, breathing in the fresh air of the mountains and of the distant sea. After what was hours of walking but only seemingly minutes to her, she began humming, feeling the nature’s chorus around her. She hummed for her children, for herself, and for Jocelyn her love.
For the father,
For the mother,
For the daughters,
For the sons,
Born in blood,
From the mother,
We all share together
She gave her heart
And her soul
The grief and the rage
She poured into them
With wolf-meat mingled
They minced for him
In the wine his mouth knew
The blood of the Others
Ran through and through
Never as a youth
With a weaklings heart
Bravery in age unveil
My keen sword forge a noble feast
Freedoms bliss, death prevail
Listen, your last
To the will of my words
Stranger the dreaded
All are beheaded
Grim carnivores
We eat our love
Death shall become
The new life
The love of family eternal in blood and soul
The shriek of a raven cut through the air, and Lyla rubbed her belly and smiled.
Lyla gains 40 Singing.
