The Wars of the Lords of Westeros: Sunset Kingdom
The Wildling Invasion, 1498: Pitted Izan Stark, the King-Beyond-the-Wall, versus his kind Lord Cregan Stark of Winterfell, as well as lords of the Riverlands, Iron Islands, and Vale.
Result: The wildlings are defeated by the forces of the Seven Kingdoms.
Battles:
The Wall: The Wildling army breached the wall, and took all three manned castles from the Night’s Watch, slaughtering nearly all of the Black Brothers. Lord Stark is captured by wildlings, near White Harbor.
The Battle of Last Hearth: A wildling force is repulsed by the defenders of Last Hearth.
The Battle of Eastwatch: Lord Mallister's army is repulsed by the wildlings defending Eastwatch-by-the-Sea, and Lord Mallister is captured.
The Second Battle of Eastwatch: The remnants of Mallister’s army, reinforced by Stannis Royce, storm Eastwatch and slaughter the wildling defenders. Lord Mallister is recovered from captivity.
The Battle of the Dreadfort: A wildling army attacks the Dreadfort and nearly succeeds in sacking the castle, but was defeated by Stannis Royce. Lord Stark is recovered from Captivity.
The Battle of the Nightfort: Lord Stark defeatedthe King-Beyond-the-Wall outside the Nightfort.
The Conquest of the Free Cities, 1498-1499: Pitted the new King of Westeros, Jonarth II, and his Targaryen allies of Pentos and Tyrosh, against the remaining Free Cities in a war of conquest.
Result: Myr and Volantis are conquered by King Jonarth and the Targaryen Empire.
Battles:
The Battle of Myr: Jonarth’s navy crushes the Myrish fleet at sea, and the city’s magisters capitulate in surrender.
The Battle of Volantis: Jonarth’s army, and the dragons of the Targaryens, attack the city, killing thousands and violently seizing power.
Martell’s Rebellion, 1498-1499: Pitted Dorne, under the leadership of the usurper Leo Martell, against the loyalist forces of the Seven Kingdoms.
Result: Leo Martell was betrayed by the Dornish lords who supported him, and he was delivered to the forces of the crown for execution.
Battles:
The Battle of the Blackmont Mountains: Lord Samuel Tarly attacked a Dornish force at the River Terentine and defeated them, before moving on to Blackmont to sack it with 10,000 Reachmen, in response for the Dornish sacking of Uplands Castle in 1496.
The Battle of the Prince’s Pass: A combined Kingdom army under Lord Domeric Tyrell was defeated by Dorne’s greatest general, Lord Velryn Yronwood.
The Sack of Nightsong: During the Battle of the Prince’s Pass, Leo Martell sacked Nightsong with 10,000 men, completely destroying the castle and town below it.
The Battle of Blackhaven: A second Kingdom army under Lord Lewyn Corbray was repulsed by a Dornish host under Lord Wyl, due to the superior numbers of the Dornish.
The Second Battle of the Blackmont Mountains: Lord Samuel Talry intercepted Leo Martell and slaughtered 3,000 men who protected the escape of Martell and the rest of his troops.
The second Battle of the Prince’s Pass: The Reach army under Lord Samuel Tarly attacked Lord Yronwood and Martell’s joint force in the Prince’s pass near Skyreach, and was repulsed forcing the Reachmen to flee to Starfall, but not before Lord Dustin Caswell killed Lord Yronwood in the midst of combat.
The Ironborn Rebellion 1498-1499: Pitted the Iron Islands, under the leadership of Lord Harlaw and his brother Rodrick Harlaw, against the loyalist forces of the Seven Kingdoms.
Result: Lord Harlaw and his brother were defeated and killed.
Battles:
The Sack of Bandallon: The castle and city of Bandallon are razed by Rodrick Harlaw and his cousin Ser Berick Harlaw.
The Sack of Old Oaks: The castle and town of Old Oaks are razed by Rodrick Harlaw and his cousin Berick Harlaw. Lord and Lady Oakheart are captured.
The Battle of the Redwyne: A Reach fleet under Ser William Florent is smashed by the Iron Fleet under Rodrick Harlaw. Ser William Florent is captured.
The Battle of Bear Island: A Northern fleet under Jon Bolton attacks and captures Bear Island.
The Second Battle of the Redywne: A Mander fleet under Lord Chester attacked and fought to a draw the larger Iron fleet under Rodrick Harlaw. Rodrick Harlaw is killed and Ser Berick Harlaw is maimed.
The Battle of the Sunset Sea: A Western fleet under Ser Darryl Banefort is smashed by an Ironborn fleet under Lord Harlaw himself. Ser Darryl is killed. Lord Oakheart and Ser William Florent are executed.
The Battle of Pyke: A combined Kingdom fleet under Lord Chester's command was repulsed the Iron fleet under Lords Harlaw and Drumm near Pyke. Lords Chester and Tyrell are captured.
The Second Battle of Pyke: A second Kingdom fleet under Ser Tytos Farman crushes the remnants of the Iron Fleet under Lord Harlaw. Lord Harlaw is killed, Lord Drumm surrenders the islands and is appointed Overlord. Lords Chester and Tyrell, and Lady Oakheart, are returned to the Mander unharmed.
