"I will buy many ships, but I have yet to buy one of them. Let us talk of ships. I would like to speak to that captain of the red one, inscribed 'The Red Tide'," Arthur requested.

"The Good Master regrets to inform you that you will not have the privilege of doing so," the translator replied.

"And why is this?" Arthur asked somberly, "He is of my home land, no doubt, and a person of note. I would like to barter with him," Arthur asks.

"You cannot because the Good Master says you cannot," the servant replied immediately, not daring replying the man's defiance to his master.

Arthur frowned. "I will then go browse the ships of the harbor, deciding which will be best to harbor my men and myself. I will return with the names of the ones I would like to purchase from the Good Master," Arthur said to the translator, before bowing his head to the Good Master.

The Good Master nodded with a wise smile and sent the men out of his palace.

The ship is manned by a few of the Good Master's men, who reply that the ship is now in his custody.
Andry, having traveled wide, is able to translate for Arthur.

Arthur asks Andry to ask the men who the previous owner of this ship was, and where the crew is, who relays the question.

They laugh and reply that they have no idea. One of their men heads off to the palace, probably reporting the questions to the Good Master's of the city, who know all that goes on around Astapor.

Puzzled at why it would be in the Good Master's custody, Arthur goes around the port, asking similar questions to the ships at bay, speaking to a few captains, and finding others to be under the Good Master's custody. Most of the ships were native to the Summer Sea, some to the Summer Islands, and only two to Westeros. The second Westerosi ship was a trading galley from Braavos, as Arthur had began speaking to the captain.

"Too long," the man responded with a smile. "And how about yourself? I have not seen you in the city."

"I am new, and looking to buy, however you seem to have sold all of your bounty. Tell me then, who owns and captains that ship three down? The Red Tide. You must have seen it come into port," Arthur said equally friendly.

"Aye, I saw it," the captain said, his mind trying to recall the details. "I believe she's a Westerosi ship, I'm sure of it, actually. Though it's captain I do not know."
