For Redfort - Trek Redfort 82 (+10) vs Lord Gerald Lannister 86 (+10)
The Scene-
As Westeros lay in ruins, the conquering Lannister army comes to it's last target - the Vale. Taking on the head of the lion, Trek Redfort challenges the leader of the Lannister host that spreads over Westeros. Gerald Lannister. The two face off under dark, lingering clouds, on a ridge that runs along the side of one of the vale mountains. If Gerald should conquer, the Vale will surrender without conflict. If Redfort is victorious, the Lannister Conquest is forever crippled, their Dark Leader dead.
Round One
Trek - 149 Gerald - 111 (Average Hit -20)
The battle starts off quickly, as Trek advances, dealing consecutive quick jabs at Lannister, who struggles to keep up, as a jab slips by his guard, and takes him in the ribs, cutting deeply. Trek wretches the speak out, taking a small chunk of flesh, as Lannister begins to bleed. Trek lets a small smile spread across his face, as he rips the spear from the man's body.
Round Two
Trek - 100 Gerald - 90 (No Result)
Lannister, reeling from the blow, becomes furious, as he mounts a counter attack, charging Trek. Trek, ready, however, hits away each blow with the shaft of his spear, keeping the pace of the battle steady
Round Three
Trek - 105 Gerald - 85 (Light Hit, now -30)
As Lannister attacks, giving all he's got, Trek keeps his defense nice and steady, wasting no energy. As Lannister's blood begins to pour, he slows down, his swings becoming slower, and Trek takes full advantage. Pushing one of Lannister's strikes aside, Trek steps in close, brining his shield into the chest of Lannister, knocking his wind out.
Round Four
Trek - 95 (Average hit, now -20) Gerald - 134
Lannister, reeling from the hit, grabs his senses quickly, as his blood rage takes over. Roaring in defiance, he takes full advantage of the closed distance between Trek and himself, coming in with his sword, dealing quick blows that Trek is barely able to defend, as he tries to spread the distance. While stepping back, Trek missteps and lets his guard drop a split second, as Lannister's blade deflects off his shield and sinks down into his thigh, tearing off a large chunk of flesh.
Round Five
Trek - 106 (Average hit, now -40) Gerald - 136
As Trek reels from the hit, he finds it difficult to put pressure, though he feels little pain, due to his adrenaline. Stepping down upon his right leg, he crumples a little, as Gerald side strikes. Trek is barely able to bring his spear up with amazing strength to block the attack, though Lannister brings his sword off the deflection, in a wide arc above his head, and down upon the shield arm, cutting into the upper arm, and crippling it's use.
Round Six
Trek - 138 Gerald - 84 (Heavy Hit, now -65) Gerald, smirking at his impressive strike, laughs in Trek's face. "You're bleeding!" he laughs. Trek, growing angry, ignores his wounds as he mounts what energy he has left. Stumbling forwards, he brings his good arm, clutching the spear, up into Gerald's chin, stunning him, before his right leg buckles. As Trek is falling, he spins his body around in full circle, straightening his spear-arm, and plants a vicious blow into Gerald's stomach as he falls to his knees. The spear penetrates through the lower left side of his abdomen, coming out his lower back, as Gerald grunts in shock and pain.
Round Seven
Trek - 106 Gerald - 106 (No Result)
Gerald's body clenches and reels forwards, as the spear rests in his body. Dropping his sword, and grabbing the spear with both hands, he fights Trek's strength as he slowly pulls it out, falling to a knee as he grabs his sword again. Both men attempt to rise, slowly doing so, looking into each other's tired, but angry faces, as the rain begins to pour, wetting the mud and their bodies.
Round Eight
Trek - 128 Gerald - 129 (No Result)
Tired and profusely bleeding, both men come at each other again, angry though both fighter's swings are slow and lazy. Despite his wound, Gerald attacks with the courage of a lion, living up to his name, as he keeps the pace of the battle even, as Trek's shield arm hangs limp.
Round Nine
Trek - 121 Gerald - 129 (No Result) The battle progresses, as both men continue to lose blood, and the distance between the two fighters is returned. Slowly advancing, Lannister again proves his worth, fighting against Trek and the wound, inching past Trek's one-armed guard.
Round Ten
Trek - 65 (Average hit, now -60) Gerald - 106
Trek struggles to keep up with the Lion, who's blood thirsty after receiving the terrible blow. Now clutching his open wound, Gerald swing his mighty sword with a single hand, limping forwards in the shifting mud, as the rain pours down. Trek, unable to raise his shield arm to defend himself, retreats slowly, though his bad leg hits a mud puddle, and comes out from under him, as Gerald takes a vicious strike. Trek slips forwards, as the down cut comes at him, and falls on both knees. Luckily, he dodged the worst of the blow, as Lannister's sword arcs down across his upper back, cutting through the back of his shoulder, as he winces on all fours.
Round Eleven
Trek - 94 (Average hit, now -80) Gerald - 125
Trek, summoning the strength he had left in him, rose of his arms, kneeling straight up, slightly dazed. As he looked up, the rain splattered his face, and the dark shadow of Lannister stood over him, sword ready to strike the kill. A single raindrop hit the center of Trek's brow, as Lannister went in for the kill, thrusting his sword forwards. Snapping into focus, Trek threw his body to the side, taking the strike to his shield arm again, as the Valyrian steel ripped through flesh and bone, cutting through his bicep, before Lannister snarled in anger, trying to pull his sword back out.
Round Twelve
Trek - 89 Gerald - 73 (Light Hit, now -75)
Trek screamed in agony as the sword twisted in his arm. Concentrating the pain into an anger, he hefted his spear up and thrust it at Lannister's arms, the spearhead rippling along Lannister's left forearm, though it only cut the surface. As the blood slowly leaked from Lannister's arm, it fell to the puddle beneath, mixing with mud and water.
Round Thirteen
Trek - 78 Gerald - 77 (No result)
Gerald roars in defiance, as he puts a boot on Redfort's chest, pulling his sword free, lifting Trek's agony, as both men struggle to maintain their composure, Trek slowly rising to his feet again. Round Fourteen
Trek - 90 Gerald - 66 (Light Hit, Now -85)
Gerald, irritated by his would, returns his hand to pressure his deep wound, as the two men stand off, breathing heavily in the rain. Trek advances, dragging his left side with him, as it is severely damaged. Spurring himself forwards, Trek unleashes all the skill that remains to him, hitting high, then low, then high again, as Gerald struggles hard to keep up. As the Bloodroar places both hands back on his sword, he lift's the spearhead of the spear, while Trek attempts a jab. Pushing forward, Trek thrusts the bottom of the spear forwards, making contact with the deep wound, making Lannister grunt in pain, as more blood flows from the abdomen.
Round Fifteen
Trek - 69 (Average Hit, now -100) Gerald - 97
"Bastard," Gerald says to the limping man, as he curses through gritted teeth. Pushing Trek's spear aside, he causes Trek to stumble to the left, as Gerald brings his sword in a downward arc. Again, Trek is very fortunate, as his left leg gives out on him again, dropping his body as the sword cuts across his body, from his right shoulder to his left ribs, biting through his armor, and severing off Trek's left nipple, while breaking the shaft of his spear as it flew from his hands. "Fuck," curses Gerald again, as his missed his kill stroke, and his body flows with the missed hit, putting him off balance.
Round Sixteen Trek - 73 Gerald - 12 (Heavy hit, now -120)
Trek ignores his painful left leg, as the pain has subsided completely as he suffered blood loss. The world spun around him as his life's blood dripped to the earth beneath him. As the world spun, he caught sight of Lannister losing balance and falling to a knee and hand in the shifting mud. Rising to one knee with a large effort, Trek grabbed the muddy tip of the broke spear and lunged himself at Lannister, knocking him on his back, as Gerald's sword flew from his hand. Holding the man down with his dead weight, Trek raised a fist, clenching the steel, and brought it down through Lannister's gorget, biting through the side of his neck, tearing through much of the flesh and slightly hitting the main artery.
Round Seventeen
Trek - 48 Gerald - 43 (No result)
As blood flowed from Lannister's neck, he grabbed Trek, as they rolled through the mud, mixing sweat, blood, mud and water, as the rain fell from above, harder than ever, and lighting stuck in the background. Trek managed to hold control, though made no more attempts towards inflicting damage.
Round Eighteen
Trek - 17 Gerald - 19 (No result)
As Trek lost strength slowly, Lannister reached out from his back and grabbed Trek's arm, squeezing it and sending pain through Trek's body, giving Lannister some control back.
Round Nineteen
Trek - 29 (Average hit, now -120) Gerald - 72
As Trek's body jolted with pain, Lannister threw a quick mailed fist at Trek's damaged arm, sending him crashing to the side, before Lannister flipped over, mounting Trek and began delivering pucnhes to the young warrior's face. Trek, partially numbed and stunned from the pain went in and out of consciousness as Lannister furiously attacked his head with mailed fists, swelling his eye, breaking his nose, and breaking Trek's teeth, as the blood from his forearm fell onto the young warrior's beaten face with every swing. Lannister's blows were almost methodogical, as both men had suffered a great deal of blood loss.
Round Twenty Trek - 7 Gerald - 10 (No result)
Thunder clashed and the world went black and white for Trek, as Gerald reared his arm for a particularly vicious blow. Trek's senses cam back to him as the lightning stuck behind the looming shadow of the Bloodroar, and his right arm struck out, knocking Gerald off of him, and he rolled to his stomach. Both men knew they were dead where they lay, but both wanted to ensure the other's death. As Trek struggled to all fours, his gripped Lannister's own fallen sword, brining it up as the slowly stood with his back turned. Lannister, himself, rising with his back turned to Trek, pulled a dagger from his boot, as both of the dead men turned to look at each other's pale, wet face, as the rain poured down from above.
Round Twenty-One
Trek - 1 (Heavy hit, now -155) Gerald - 55
Screaming, and stumbling forwards, Trek dragged the sword with his good arm, and attempted to raise it into the Lannister's gut to finish him, but found the sword too heavy, and it rose no higher than his knee before dropping back. "That's my sword," Gerald mumbled, as he clumsily lifted the dagger and pushed it through Trek's upper chest, puncturing a lung, and putting the Redfort warrior ever closer to his grave.
Round Twenty-Two Trek - 33 Gerald - 1 (Average hit, now -140)
Lannister let go, as Trek fell to his knee's yet again, dying slowly, as he looked up into the sky through his good eye, the sword falling from his hand beside him, as he fell back, his body resting on his calves, his hands grazing the mud. The rain washed the blood from his face, as he closed his eyes, breathing raggedly. Lannister, breathing hard and slowly, stepped forwards, very pale in the face, from all the blood he lost. Bending down to a knee, he went to grab his sword off the ground, to finish off the helpless knight. As he did so, however, Trek looked to the sky, and a vision of his home flashed past his eyes. The sun, bright above, and the children laughing.
Somehow, as though the gods granted Trek the strength, he reached down blindly, grabbing the wooden shaft to the broken spear and very suddenly thrust it up into the Lannister, entering upwards through the same wound as before, sending the Lion to his knees also, his face in shock. "For the Vale..." Trek whispered into the Lion's ear, as they knelt in front of each other, their heads over the other's shoulder.
Round Twenty-Three Trek - (-41) (DEATH) Gerald - (-33) (DEATH)
Both warriors knelt in the mud, as the rain poured from above. Trek's body went limp first, resting down upon Lannister's, his eyes going dead. Soon after, Lannister himself went, his hand around the Valeman's neck, clutching it as he died.
