I have decided (with some advice from other's in the chat, including Crake) to make my third a Falgrave.

Oh there is no House Hewett they died out and the lands were given to Rindwynd.
Then he and his son died and Bella Tyrell became Lady of Oakensheild.
She then married Ser Garet and they made a new house, House Greenoak.

Crake, could we not have attacked the reinforcements when they had landed and were entering the city?

So we now have 25,000 men under Marq outside KL, and 10,000 men under Caron + 2,500 Goldcloaks under the Small Council inside KL?

Not without getting within range of the city walls, Marq, as the harbour is right up against the city.

Well, seeing as how I'm about to have to attack the city walls, I will risk that.

They're on ships, and you don't have ships. I suppose it's possible. Care to chance it?

Yes, I know they are on ships, but I thought that they would have to land and then ride/walk a short distance into the gates of the city.

It is an extremely short distance, and I don't know if you'd be able to get your whole army mobilised in time.

I know my whole army wouldn't even come into effect, I can't fit 30,000 men into that small of a space, but my men camped closest to that portion could mobilize and certainly attack a column of 10,000 entering the city.

The harbor is like right under the walls, if I remember the book-map of KL correctly, and if your camp is circling the city, I think you wouldn't be able to bring that many of your troops into the battle, at least in the beginning of it, realistically.
