You can always try to convince Lord Harlaw one way or another, or just take some of his ships

Okay, Sam will probably accuse me of spouting lies as he tends to about 10 times a day now, but here is the brief gist:
1) The King and his Queen were found murdered after the melee.
2) Hightower and Tully had equal claim to the throne.
3) Hightower asks Tully to be his Hand while he, Hightower, will be King. Tully declines.
4) Riverlands and Valemen, as well as Lannisters I believe, leave King's Landing.
5) Hightower declares himself King.
(The first 5 all happened in the same game day, within just a few hours)
6) Tully from Riverrun declares himself King.

No. The Vale, I would suppose. OOC I know he is at The Gates of the Moon.

That seems to be about right, except you missed Lord Tully and Ser Marq leaving King's Landing quietly, before Osney made the public announcement about claiming the throne. Otherwise, that list is surprisingly accurate Marq

Otherwise, that list is surprisingly accurate Marq Heh, you two are killing me. But actually, after reading it, he did say they left King's Landing before the throne claiming and whatnot. If that is what you guys are talking about. Im half confused as it is.

Also, Cregan, Balon Hacke of the Stepstones has basically declared for Tully and I am of the opinion that Arthur Royce has as well, but he hasn't said so publicly.
I don't think anyone's acknowledged Osney yet, but he doesn't tell me everything so I dunno.

Okay, I am trying to wait on Osney to get online, but if people keep making their final decisions on who to support, Im gonna have to make a troop movement. I was planning on doing that today anyways but have been holding back, and its already cost me on one region I think.

What are some of the minor houses of the Mander?

Mander Houses: Tyrell (Highgarden) Rowan (Goldengrove) Merryweather (Longtable) Oakheart (Old Oak) Dawnrose (Dawnrose Keep, formerly Cider Hall) Fossoway (New Barrel) Ashford (Ashford) Falgrave (Greycopse) Serry (Southshield) Grimm (Greyshield) Hewett (Oakenshield) Chester (Greenshield) Rowan, Oakheart, and Ashford are the big bannerhouses to Highgarden, the others are slightly smaller, I tried to list them in terms of how important/influential I estimate them to be. There's a good list at www.westeros.org/Citadel/Heraldry/ but it doesn't account for the division of the Mander and Far Reach.

If I were to make my third a cousin from one of these Houses, which do you think I should choose? I imagine something hilly but still woody and foresty, to fit with his backstory. Ideas?

You might enjoy House Falgrave from Greycopse, among the others I cannot remember where they are exactly located (beyond being outside Highgarden). They also have a Valyrian Steel longsword called "Treason", which is enough to make any player interested.
