Ruro Illorhis laughed. "I need no pay nor plunder, but it is known that a sellsword company can be a great adventure." He ordered a drink and sipped it. "Which one of you is the leader?"

"I am," said Samuel, in halting Bastard Valyrian. "Ser Samuel is my name, some of my men call me the Summer Knight."

"The Summer Knight," Ruro repeated, then nodding his head. "A good name." He sighed and kicked his legs up on a bench, resting his head back, drinking the wine while at it. "I'll tell you what, Ser Samuel," Ruro said, wondering why the man used a westerosi title yet he looked to be from the summer isles, "my men and I will enter your service, if you promise me we shall see great adventure and travel the world." He smiled. "You see, I have plenty of money, but I wish to see many things I have not yet seen."

Samuel smiled. "I have heard there are dragons in Myr. I have never seen dragons before, but I hope to do so for the first time, as soon as I have the men to march there."

"How many more do you wish to have?" Roro asked casually.

"Five hundred at least," Samuel said with a frown. "I have not found as many men as I had hoped. You certainly look wealthy enough to be a commander of men, or am I wrong?"

Roro smiled confidently. "I am very wealthy. Or my father is, I should say. I shall be very wealthy when the old man dies."

"Would you bring men to my cause?" Samuel asked? Wat Threefingers was walking among other men of the inn, recruiting as he went, while Big Ben stood protectively behind Samuel, bandages showing on both of his forearms. "How many men do you command?"

Ruro shrugged. "Perhaps I could sway one hundred men from my father's manses to join us. But my real strength is in the city. If I wished it, I could bring many men from the city to join me in your service." He smiled. "It is the gift and the curse of the Tyroshi nobility-- the commons will follow you no matter what."

"Westerosi noblemen train their sons in the arts of battle and command. Are you skilled as such, can you command men in battle?" Samuel was genuinely curious about this young man, although slightly unsure of his motives.

"I have studied every battle since the dragons conquered the sunset kingdom, fifteen hundred years ago," Ruro said nonchalantly. "And no man can withstand my sword in the palace yard." He did not mention he had never actually been in a real battle or duel.

"I wish to march from Tyrosh with a thousand men, as soon as possible. I have few sub-commanders besides these two drunk knights," he said, gesturing to Ser Garlan and Ser William who had remained at the bar drinking throughout the entire exchange. "If you can truly do what you say, we will march immediately and fight with the dragons in Myr. We shall put all our skills to the test."

"Brilliant," Ruro said confidently, although he had no true confidence inside. "I shall gather the men as soon as possible. I will be serving you as your second in command, I assume?"

"Yes," he said simply.

Ruro smiled broadly. His associates looked surprised, seemingly shocked that their leader was joining a sellsword company. "I shall prepare the men and recruit many more right away."
