Lord Hacke sat down in the chair. He looked out the window for a little while, before finally talking. "I have come to ask of your help." He said, swallowing his pride, seemingly difficultly.

Lord Balon sat silently for another moment, before drawing his eyes up to Robert. He spoke very quietly, so quietly that Robert had to almost struggle to hear. "The Tyroshi and Pentoshi should not be trusted." Was all he said, looking around at the walls.
"The Targaryens cannot be trusted." He finished quietly.

"I have not seen anything that marks them untrustworthy, Lord Hacke," Robert replies equally silent.

Lord Balon swallowed, shifting around in his seat. "It is nothing but speculation, but I firmly believe the conquest of Lorath was not coincidental with the events in Westeros." He said, looking Lord Caraven straight in the eyes.

Robert frowns, "You think the Targaryens murdered the king and their kin? I do no think that the late King would fall for such a ploy."

Lord Balon shifted uneasily, choosing his words carefully. "The Targaryens have conquered Lorath now of all times, right after the death of the King and his new bride. It is very close to Westeros, too close for comfort." He finished, suppressing a cough. "The King coming to the Targaryens for a bride would have rekindled their old angers against Westeros, and shown them firsthand that the King was old and weak, and Westeros ripe for the taking." He finished very quietly again, trying to avoid people listening in.

"Westeros is not ripe for the taking, any foreign army landing on the shores would unite them faster than you can say courtesan, Lord Hacke. Prince Daegon told me that they responded due to pirates sponsored by Lorath, some nobles were captured and killed because of those piraets. I am inclined to believe him," Robert said

Lord Balon sighed and nodded his head. "If thats what you believe, Lord Caraven. I see I cannot sway you and your opinion." Balon stood up and made to walk towards the door.

"I would suggest for you to speak to the Prince or the Queen before making any decisions, Lord Hacke"

Lord Balon remained quiet, merely nodding his head. He then left the room, heading back for his ship.
