Lord Caraven is informed that the Queen is at the Lorath blockade, but he is admitted to meet with Prince Daegon. Prince Daegon Targaryen is standing on the ledge of a balcony in the palace, watching a pool of water. The blue eyed prince has a gold dyed beard and blonde long hair crowned by a gold circlet.

Robert bows to the prince politely, "good day, Prince. I am Lord Robert Caraven, and though I wish I could come on a better ocasion... there's dark tidings from Westeros. The King and newly made Queen were slain in their bed. You have my condolences, Prince".

The Targaryen Prince smiled, "Thank you, Lord Robert." It didn't seem like he had any more to say.

Robert moved next to the prince to stair down at the pool, he seemed unfazed by the Prince's apperant lack of emotions at the news, his good-uncle had hinted at as much.
After a while of looking at the peaceful water he spoke again, "I would like to know the cause of aggression towards Lorath, Prince Daegon".

"That is a most complex matter, Lord Caraven. Pentos and Tyrosh have been rivals with Lorath, and all Free Cities even, since they were joined by our leadership. There was an incident of Lorathean treachery that sparked the war though."

Robert nods thoughtfully, "Not that unlike what Braavos went through after my forefathers conquered it. Could you elaborate more on the treachery, Prince?"

"Lorath sponsored piracy on Tyroshi ships, Lord Caraven. Among the captured and killed were Tyroshi noblemen. The rest were left outraged."

Lord Robert nods, "I see how that demands a proper answer to the crimes, Prince, lets hope that the other cities do not do anything rash". Robert continued to look over the pool.
"Why did you agree to marry your kin to the King?"

"I see you were part of some interrogative party, all you've done is asked questions." The Prince laughed. "Why not marry our kin to the King? Your house did the same in the not so distant past."

"One does not learn if you do not ask question, Prince," Robert chuckled "True, my aunt married the same King, but she wasn't in as much danger as the next one".

"What do you mean by that statement, Lord Caraven?"

Robert sighed, "The Queen's life would be forfeit the moment the King died, even if he didn't get her with child, someone else could have. I am not saying that she would do such a thing, but there are poisons that would make one fall unconcious and such. No doubt some power grasping figure would try to make such a move, and others would try to prevent it. The only solution would be to either hide the Queen and make sure she did not get a child within the year, or alternativly kill her".

"I think those are all very remote possibilities that we should not regularly count on. Especially when one wishes to looks forward to the future, for all its joys." Prince Daegon smiled and turned to look at Robert, "Which is wonderful transitioning into another topic. I wish to offer you the hand of my younger sister, Princess Aema."
